Leandro Niero (he/they) is a Brazilian/Italian developer, designer and image maker based in London. They run Generational Trauma, direct music videos and program live visuals using a toolkit that includes generative video and videography, creative coding, fabrication and art direction. At Goldsmiths University of London, their MA in Computational Arts has fortified a commitment to melding research and practical application through development of thought provoking software that has social impact using languages like JavaScript, C++, Python and Ruby. In web design, Leandro focuses on responsive design and full-stack development, employing HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Django to build user-centric digital experiences. Their portfolio includes collaborations with musicians, brands and non-profits, such as Alia, where Leandro has crafted digital platforms and safe spaces for community engagement and outreach.
